Linear speed is a critical parameter in metal cutting that significantly impacts the service life of high-speed steel saw blades. Calculate linear speed using: saw blade diameter × 3.14 × RPM (spindle speed of pipe cutting machine).
Cut Off Time
The optimal feed rate per tooth typically ranges between 0.02-0.05mm depending on material. For carbon steel, a feed rate of 0.04mm is recommended. Adjust based on your machine's power capacity.
